what haunts you, man

my brilliant man

my unshakable

but shaken man

you asked me once

to run with you

while loving me once

you asked me to

but i will not run

no i will not run

when you gonna face

what you’re running from

the pines whispered as

a wave went through

princess     they said

as the wave went through

princess      they said

as i listened to you  

yes    i answered

but you were gone

I love you, you! 

but you were gone       

on the run

you’re on the run

what haunts you, man
